Frederique Constant

Frederique Constant is a Swiss watchmaking manufacturer located in Geneva, Switzerland. The Maison was founded in 1988 by a couple of independent entrepreneurs, Aletta and Peter Stas, to offer quality Swiss watches at competitive prices, with the aim of democratising luxury Swiss Made watches. Frederique Constant creates, develops, assembles and controls a wide variety of mechanical, quartz and connected timepieces at the same time within its 6,200 m2 Manufacture. To this day, the Brand has designed 30 Manufacture calibres, including high complications, such as the Tourbillon, the Perpetual Calendar, the Flyback Chronograph, as well as a new and unprecedented type of escapement in watchmaking – the Monolithic, made from a single piece of silicon.

The Slimline Monolithic Manufacture embodies our visionary spirit

Marking a world premiere, Frederique Constant presents the Slimline Monolithic Manufacture, beating at an unprecedented pace of 288,000 vibrations per hour (40 Hz). Redefining the principles of mechanical watch regulation, this timepiece ticks ten times faster than most mechanical movements. Etched from silicon, its Monolithic oscillator replaces a standard assortment of 26 components by one layer only, fitting inside a traditional movement configuration. This cutting-edge technology is available at a price that respects the Brand’s commitment to accessible luxury.
