Nick Towndrow is the General Manager of Swiss Watch Services, a subsidiary of Seddiqi Holding. In 2021, Nick joined Swiss Watch Services (SWS), the largest Independent Aftersales Service workshop in the region, offering unparalleled expertise in horology.
Spearheaded by Nick, the SWS team is tasked with servicing and restoring both timepieces and jewellery, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge techniques for precise repairs, restorations, and maintenance according to brand specifications. Under his guidance, SWS launched an innovative and new After Sales Service centre, which is set to house a watchmaker training school, scheduled to launch in 2024. Additionally, Nick has led the implementation of an advanced IT management system, streamlining the tracking and efficient handling of all customer inquiries.
Nick's journey in horology commenced with his graduation from the British Horological Institute watchmaking course. From his early days as a dedicated watchmaker at Rolex UK, he rapidly ascended to the esteemed position of International Customer Service Manager for La Montre Hermes in Switzerland. In 2002, driven by his passion for horology and education, he founded the British School of Watchmaking in Manchester, an institution internationally recognized for its partnership with WOSTEP, further solidifying his legacy in the realm of watchmaking.
