Caitlin Donovan

Caitlin Donovan is the Vice President, Head of Department, Americas, for the Christie’s Handbags & Accessories Department, and Head of Department for Sneakers, Streetwear & Collectibles, based in New York City. Caitlin is responsible for sourcing, curating and selling all US based Handbags & Accessories Auctions and all international Sneakers, Streetwear & Collectibles auctions, sourcing, curating and selling these sales globally, supporting US clients overseas, as well as working with clients to manage their private collections of Handbags, Sneakers and Streetwear. In addition to sourcing and curating auctions, Caitlin has extensive experience in authenticating and cataloguing luxury goods.

Prior to joining Christie’s in 2014, Caitlin was a Specialist based in New York City. Before entering the auction world, Caitlin worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the handbag company Holly Caldwell LLC and as the Director of Education for Women Corporate Directors, launching chapters of the organization around the world. Caitlin speaks frequently on her expertise of the Handbags & Accessories, Sneakers and Streetwear markets, featured and quoted in numerous publications online, in print and on television. Born and raised in Manhattan, Caitlin holds a B.A. in History and Sociology from Vanderbilt University.
