Whether you’re a tech-maven or simply a watchmaking enthusiast, our “Innovation and Technology”, organized in collaboration with Watch Photo Awards is open to all. Take a photo of your favorite watch and highlight a certain angle, décor, or a technological or innovative aspect.
The Watch Photo Awards are the first annual international watch photography competition open to amateur watch lovers and professionals alike. Every month from February to July will have a different theme, and awards will be given to the photos that best meet the criteria of creativity, technical accomplishment and relevance to the theme. All the winning photos will be published by our media partners, as well as being featured in a special exhibition at the end of the year in Geneva, before travelling to other cities.
The jury members for 2019 are: Pierre-André Montjovet (watch collector, financier and globetrotter), Denis Hayoun (specialist watch photographer and founder of Diode studio), Marie de Pimodan (watch journalist), Edouard Haegi (watch and car photographer with an interest in vintage watch auctions),Brice Lechevalier (founder and editor-in-chief of GMT, CEO of WorldTempus) and Ondrej Vislocky (winner of the 2018 WPA and jury member for 2019).
Participants can send their photos of their mechanical watch to the theme of “Innovation & Technology” to watch-photo-awards.com, from the 1st to the 30th of October 2019. At the end of the competition, the person behind the winning photo will get a two-night stay for two people, with a SPA treatment, at the Bulgari Resort in Dubai.
