Since 2009, Theo Staub is the CEO and Managing Partner of proventavia LLC. Proventavia is active in mergers and acquisitions in the aerospace industry as well as in the field of auditing executive flight operations and building aerospace ventures in emerging markets. Since 2015 he is Chairman of the board at Grossmann International Uhren AG. Grossman Uhren GmbH in Glashütte, Germany manufactures wristwatches in the highest craftsmanship and in very small numbers. From 2006, he was a Senior Private Equity Advisor for different private equity firms worldwide. He was based for many years in the US, from 2003 until 2006, as President of Jet Aviation, but had worked with the company since 1993 as Vice President and General Manager. While living in the US, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), an associate member of the Advisory Council (AMAC) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). From 1983 until 1992, Theo Staub worked at Vibro-Meter SA, first as an Engineer on various aerospace projects, and later as Project Manager at Virbo-Meter Corporation in Boston, MA USA. Theo Staub was born on June 20, 1960 in Zug Switzerland. He possesses an MBA from University of Albany, State University of New York, USA/Graduate School of Business Administration in Zurich (GSBA), a BBA from GSBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Swiss College of Engineering in Lucerne, Switzerland. He is a Colonel in the Swiss Air Force.
