Launched in 2015 by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Dubai Watch Week is a global platform dedicated to the preservation of horological culture and heritage by creating one of the largest non-commercial events for the international watch community that provides an intimate environment for collectors, brands, watchmakers and the members of the media to interact and share knowledge. Held under the Patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Dubai Watch Week supports the men and women that have dedicated their life to the pursuit of horological perfection.

Head of Corporate Marketing & Communication, Seddiqi Holding
Melika Yazdjerdi’s impressive career spans multiple regions and sectors. As the Head of Corporate Marketing & Communications at Seddiqi Holding, she oversees the development and execution of all corporate communication strategies across Seddiqi Holding and its subsidiaries. Her wealth of knowledge, garnered from her experience in strategic posts, comes from her involvement within the commodities, luxury, retail, and hospitality sectors.
Melika joined Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in 2009 to spearhead the development of the Corporate Marketing and Communications division, establishing a global standard across the organization and overseeing the implementation of a number of corporate initiatives including the inception and execution of the first GPHG exhibition in the Middle East in 2013 and the first-ever event dedicated to horology in the Middle East, the Dubai Watch Week in 2015.
Melika has built a genuine and deep-rooted love for the world of luxury marketing and the traditions behind family business in the region.
Melika holds an MBA in business management, marketing and related support services from the University of Wales, United Kingdom.
Hind Abdul Hamied Seddiqi
Chief Marketing & Communication Officer, Seddiqi Holding
Hind Abdul Hamied Seddiqi is the current Chief Marketing & Communications Officer of Seddiqi holdings and renowned as a role model for Emirati women in the workforce. She broke down traditions and was the first female family member to join the corporate office of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
Hind comes from a diversified, global background; having explored the world with her family during her formative years. She has also travelled to the more focal and historical cities of horology to learn about the fine art of the watch making industry. After completing high school, Hind went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications at the American University of Sharjah. During her university years, she wanted to gain practical working experience and leapt into her career path by first working part-time in a Public Relations agency.
Upon completing her studies, Hind took on her first working experience when she joined the corporate office of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in 2006. She started her career in Marketing/Communications with humble beginnings as an intern. Through her passion for Marketing and solid execution of her vision, she eventually rose through the company to head the Marketing division as VP of Marketing and eventually Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Seddiqi Holdings.
Among Hind’s key successes and accomplishments through her tenure at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons was when she developed a comprehensive plan and re-structured the company’s Marketing department. She took on responsibility to oversee all marketing and promotional activities for the flagship chain; retailing more than 90 per cent of the world’s renowned luxury watch brands. She has also been successful in educating the market on the art of watchmaking, particularly the craftsmanship, quality and precision that goes into the creation of each luxury watch. Under her leadership, the company has managed to maintain and expand its global position as the leading timekeepers in the United Arab Emirates.
Hind is the daughter of the Vice Chairman of Seddiqi Holding, Abdul Hamied Seddiqi and a third generation member of the Seddiqi family. She is also a member of the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Executive Committee.
Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi

Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi is the Chief Commercial Officer of Seddiqi Holding – the holding company behind Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Swiss Watch Services. He is a driving force behind the business strategy and retail development of the company; bringing with him a fervent passion and expertise in the watch industry.
Upon completing university, Mohammed returned to the United Arab Emirates and explored a career in the tourism and hospitality industry while spending evenings in the family showrooms assisting the retail and sales teams. In 2004, he decided to follow his true passion and join the family business at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons alongside a number of the third generation Seddiqi family members.
Mohammed started with the company in retail to assist and implement new strategy and structure for the relevant departments during a time of rapid expansion. Driven by his passion for the world of horology, soon saw Mohammed been appointed as the Vice President of Sales & Retail, at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons where he expanded the brand portfolio and initiated the limited edition line for Seddiqi thus expanding the collector based in the UAE.
Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi is a third generation member of the Seddiqi family, son of the Chairman of Seddiqi Holding, Abdulmagied Seddiqi. He is also a member of the Seddiqi Holding Executive Committee.
Pascal O. Ravessoud

Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH)
Holder of an MBA from Business School Lausanne, Pascal joined Harry Winston in 2000 as PR & events manager, and later head of communications for the Timepieces division.
In 2007 he moved to the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie as a marketing/development director.
Currently, as director of missions, he oversees the development of the FHH's cultural activities in the markets. Pascal is a member of the academic committee for the Masters in Luxury Management at the Geneva School of Business, Business School Lausanne and Sup de Luxe in Paris, where he lectures.
Aside, Pascal is an astute watch connoisseur and collector since more than 20 years, particularly in the field of vintage watches, on which he gives conferences and write articles.
Christie's Watch Specialist - Dubai, Head of Watches Middle East - India - Africa
Rémy Julia was appointed as Christie’s Dubai’s regional specialist for watches in the summer of 2014. He comes to Christie’s with more than 10 years of experience working with luxury brands in brand management and business development roles. Since 2009 he has been heading the Commercial Development in the Middle East and Indian Sub Continent of Vacheron Constantin- the world’s oldest Haute Horlogerie manufacture with almost 260 years of uninterrupted history- part of the Richemont Group.
His intimate knowledge of one of the world’s leading watchmakers ensures that Rémy is well placed to advise Christie’s Middle Eastern clients on the purchase and consignment of watches from and for Christie’s auctions around the world.
He will also play a key role in bringing Christie’s bespoke design & search service, as well as Christie’s Private Sales in the region.
Rémy speaks French, Spanish, English and some Arabic and Indie. He has travelled extensively all over the world since a young age and has a deep knowledge of Middle Eastern culture due to his long residency in the region.
His advisory service is appreciated and acknowledged by some of the largest collectors in the region and his presence in each international auctions makes him a strong contact for every watch enthusiasts and established collectors willing to participate is the most renowned Watches Auctions around the globe.
Christie’s first opened an office in Dubai in 2005 and began holding bi-annual sales the following year. Today Dubai is a regular and important selling centre on the international auction calendar with the bi-annual auctions of Watches and Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, achieving sales of over $250 million.
Diplomatic Advisor, Embassy of Switzerland – UAE
As a Diplomatic Advisor, Mr. Alan Marzo covers cultural affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to his arrival in the UAE, Mr. Marzo was working for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Kenya, where he acted as a Programme Officer for the Horn of Africa. Mr. Marzo is a graduate from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and holds a Bachelor in International Relations (University of Geneva).
